Become part of the ICT VentureGate database of experts!

Experts selected from the database will evaluate investment ideas by innovative SMEs and provide written feedback so that ICT companies can better prepare for meeting investors, including at “brokerage” events organized by ICT VentureGate.

The first project-organized brokerage event took place the 19th May 2011 in Budapest and the next one is planned  at 4-5th October 2011 in Brussel, and the final event is foreseen in Rome in November 2011. Experts evaluating SME project ideas are welcome at both events, where they can provide feedback directly and take part in discussion!

SMEs are asked to present their project idea in a PowerPoint template “Project Idea Form”. The form helps them address points essential to investors in assessing the business background and investment potential of the project. SMEs will be asked to send their Project Idea to ICT Venture Gate team in advance of the brokerage event. The ICT VentureGate team will send “SMEs Project Idea presentation” to identified ICT experts continually, as these will be received from SMEs. Experts will be asked to evaluate an SME’s Project Idea Form having in mind evaluation criteria deemed essential by investors themselves. The feedback provided by experts will concern each of these criteria, using an assessment scale of 1 to 10 and including also descriptive comments. Feedback forms of individual experts will be provided to SMEs by 13th of May at the latest, in case of the Budapest event, in order to allow them to upgrade their presentation prior to the brokerage event.

Evaluation provided by experts is free of charge to SMEs and is at this stage not remunerated (similar project evaluation, taking place as part of the virtual matchmaking through this Platform in the future, will be subject to a fee by the interested SMEs).
